About us

​​   The organization was founded by our late Presiding Bishop Samuel Green in 1972.  He departed from this life to be with the Lord on November 30th 2003, leaving behind this great legacy known as GTC, founded on the Lord Jesus Christ. The location of the inception of this organization was on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn which was outgrown in a short space of time with subsequent movement to Flatbush Avenue and 725 Franklin Avenue Brooklyn NY. In its present form the oldest continuing location for services is still the Franklin Avenue Branch. The Headquarters was later located at 2314 Snyder Avenue, Brooklyn, NY which is presently pastored by , Bishop Kingsford Bloomfield.

   Bishop Bloomfield has been at the Headquarters church for the past 26 years. From this location we have established a branch church in Chapleton in Claredon, Jamaica W.I., which is presently pastored by Elder Ian Gordon and Elder Kenneth Raymond as the Overseer. This location marked the 3rd church that was established in this organization. The 4th is located in the Bronx at East 216 Street, which is presently pastored by Elder Franklin Williamson and Elder Roy Williamson as Senior Pastor. The 5th church is located in Far Rockaway NY at Beach 30th street, which is presently pastored by Elder Paul Hutchinson. The 6th is located in Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Florida which is presently pastored by Elder Donald Wright. The 7th church is located in Orlando Florida which is presently pastored by Elder Robert Young. The 8th church is located in Bagatelle Castries in St. Lucia pastored by Pastor Josephine Nickles. The 9th church is located in Fort Lauderdale which is pastored by Pastor Josephine Mitchell. The 10th church is located in George Town in Grand Cayman Island.
 

GTC has had its fair share of trials and troubles. This we have to overcome and we are continuing on the path to follow the mandate of God.
